Professional Learning Communities
​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) are “the ongoing process in which educators work collaboratively in recurring cycles of collective inquiry and action research to achieve better results ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​for the students they serve.” (Dufour, DuFour, Eaker & Many: Learning by Doing, 2010).

The 4 PLC Questions that guide our work:
  1. ​What knowledge and skills should every student master as a result of this unit of instruction?
  2. How will we know when each student has mastered the essential knowledge and skills?
  3. How will we respond when some students do not learn?
  4. How will we extend, enrich and personalize learning for students already proficient?
